- warren: A group of rabbits dwelling together. Also, the network of underground burrows where the rabbits live.
- buck: A male rabbit.
- doe: A female rabbit.
- kitten: A baby rabbit.
- Chief Rabbit: The leader of the warren. Typically a buck, but not always.
- Queen Rabbit: If the Chief Rabbit is male, his primary mate is the Queen. She organizes the digging of burrows.
- Hoplites: An elite group of rabbits who serve primarily as scouts and foragers for the warren.
- Warren Watch: An elite group of rabbits who serve as guards for the warren against outsiders, and for the Chief Rabbit against treason.
- herbalist: A rabbit with training in the identification, preparation, and use of herbs.
- seer: A rabbit with psychic powers that give them a supernatural sense of the future, or just the general state of the world.
- empath: A rabbit with psychic powers that allow them to detect the feelings of other creatures, or heal other creatures.
- burrow: A deep hole that may be used to go underground.
- run: An underground tunnel used as a pathway to get between parts of a warren, or to the outside.
- scrape: A shallow indentation dug in the earth to disguise a rabbit while resting. Typically dug by traveling rabbits far from a burrow that could shelter them.
- form: An area of underbrush used as shelter, typically for traveling rabbits.
